Pokerstars wanted to tell 6 stories of sports fans placing bets that would make them either a legend or a cautionary tale, all narrated by football pundit David Ginola. I was given three of these stories to bring to life.

This brief was all about one thing - collaboration. Being able to discuss with the director and co-editor (who was overseeing the other 3 films) how to really dial in the tone of each edit was a uniquely rewarding experience. I also had to be in constant communication with the lead animator for the animated segments in order to give them real-time information on how the edit is progressing, as the two were very much flowing in parallel. Oh, and did I mention the edits were all in French? Sadly not a language I speak, so editing with transcripts and translations also added a fun spin to the work pipeline.

The collaborative nature of this project was not only essential, but also allowed me to grow as a creative who could lead and instruct where necessary to keep a project on track.
