Tommy Hilfiger

motion graphics

Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship store on Regent Street wanted to create an experience where anyone could step into the world of Tommy Hilfiger, make it their own, and take it home with them. This resulted in a photo booth that could place a combination of different filters over a recorded image of the user, and give them a printed “snapshot” of their recording. I was asked to create the motion design demonstrating the experience for the user before they began.

The highly stylised aesthetic of the filters was an interesting challenge I had not attempted before in such detail, with each one containing a lot of elements that needed to stick as closely to the experience as possible. Approaching a style like this was satisfying to see come together, which is best shown in the hold screen video (last in the carousel) where all the filters combine in different ways on top of one another.
